This is\u00a0a gloriously uneventful chart, so let’s bang through it.<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0Ed Sheeran – “Shape of You”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

That’s six weeks, though with the rest of the chart pretty much dead, it’s not exactly a surprise. \u00a0The logjam in the top 2 is broken, at least, as\u00a0“Castle on the Hill” finally drops to 3, with “Human” by Rag’N’Bone Man\u00a0returning to number 2. \u00a0That’s thanks to the\u00a0release of the parent album. \u00a0But wait –\u00a0Ed Sheeran has just released\u00a0another<\/em> single! \u00a0So he could be at the top for some time to come, in one form or another.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0Zayn & Taylor Swift – “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades)”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
