We did\u00a0a podcast this weekend! \u00a0It’s one post down!<\/a>\u00a0 Meanwhile, over in the UK singles chart, the era of Ed Sheeran glides serenely on…<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0Ed Sheeran – “Shape of You”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

That’s 13 weeks at the top. \u00a0And for the fifth straight week, the biggest challenge comes from\u00a0Sheeran’s own “Galway Girl” at number 2. \u00a0The\u00a0rest of his chart domination is finally waning – other Sheeran tracks can be found at 6, 16, 22, 26, 29, 38 and 40. \u00a0Drake\u00a0settles for a mere three, all going down, so things really are returning to normal. \u00a0It’s taken a while, though.<\/p>\n

One more week would\u00a0see “Shape of You” match the combined total of “Bohemian Rhapsody” (which was number one twice). \u00a0But sales have slowly been tailing off down to normal levels, and the midweeks have “Shape of You” finally –\u00a0finally\u00a0<\/em>– dropping to 4. \u00a0So it looks like this is it. \u00a0Thirteen weeks. \u00a0A\u00a0quarter of the year.<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson – “Symphony”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Up one. \u00a0Clean Bandit\u00a0had\u00a0the number one\u00a0single before\u00a0“Shape of You”, and it was there a while too – we’ve had a mere two acts at number one since November.<\/p>\n

9. \u00a0Zedd & Alessia Cara – “Stay”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Up\u00a0two, giving Zedd his third top ten hit, following\u00a0“Stay The Night” from 2014 and last year’s Hailee Steinfeld track “Starving”.<\/p>\n

10. \u00a0Julia Michaels – “Issues”<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

This has taken its\u00a0sweet time to build – 85-69-53-51-58-54-44-36-28-13-10, if you’re interested – but it’s now clearly a hit.<\/p>\n

14. \u00a0Bruno\u00a0Mars – “That’s What I Like”<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Up one. \u00a0Each to his own, Bruno.<\/p>\n

17. \u00a0Little Mix – “No More Sad Songs”<\/strong><\/p>\n
