1. \u00a0Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber – “Despacito”<\/b><\/a><\/p>\nReturning to number one for a third run, giving it\u00a0a total of ten weeks. \u00a0Last week, “Despacito” was hit by the new chart rule which downweights the streams of records which have been on the chart for at least ten weeks (“Despacito” has now been here for 15) and which peaked at least three weeks previously. \u00a0Even with that handicap, it was only marginally beaten by DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts”, and now it regains the top spot. \u00a0This is a bit embarrassing all round. \u00a0If “Wild Thoughts”\u00a0didn’t have an asterisk next to it as a legitimate number one before, it certainly does now. \u00a0Returning to number one twice is rare, but not\u00a0totally unheard of in the modern era; Justin\u00a0Bieber did it in 2015 with “What Do U Mean”, and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams managed\u00a0it too.<\/p>\n
Nothing of note in the rest of the top ten. \u00a0“Power”<\/strong> by Little Mix<\/b>\u00a0climbs from 8 to 6; “Pretty Girl” by Maggie Lindemann<\/b>\u00a0climbs 9 to 8. \u00a0\u00a0“Sun Comes Up” by Rudimental featuring James Arthur<\/b>\u00a0climbs 16-10, which\u00a0makes it Rudimental’s biggest hit since “Bloodstream” in 2015. \u00a0And “Crying in the Club” by Camila Cabello<\/b>\u00a0is up from 13 to 12.<\/p>\n13. \u00a0Louis Tomlinson featuring Bebe Rexha & The Digital Farm Animals – “Back To You”<\/b><\/p>\n
