by Cowell-affiliated Latin boy band CNCO. Because the label leaves nothing to chance, instead of being left to stand on its merits, the UK version has Little Mix all over it, which doesn’t really do it any favours musically, but doubtless helped draw some attention. It returns to its peak of number 5 for the third time this week, and the UK mix has now got its own video, with CNCO actually showing up. I’ll be interested to see the follow-up with CNCO; they were designed for a very different demographic, but there’s a boy band void on the British chart right now…

“Hurtin’ Me” by Stefflon Don & French Montana climbs 9-7, and here’s another belated new video…

9. Marshmello featuring Khali – the first was 2008’s “Funhouse”. She hasn’t had an album out in five years. The lead single, “What About Us”, rebounds to 15 in support.

It’s not a single, so presumably it’s here because Eminem’s on it; he doesn’t release much these days, and it’s his first top 40 appearance of any sort in three years (since “Guts Over Fear” made number 10 in 2014). It’s… not great? It’s meant to be a jokey vengeful-exes song but the Eminem verse seems to miss the tone.

40. Yxng Bane –
