Housekeeping

Just a quick note to say that a variety of home and work demands mean that Paul and I haven’t been able to synch up schedules for this weekend (and believe me, we’ve tried) so we’re going to have to put the podcast back a week – next weekend’s pretty packed out for both of us too, but we’re hoping to record next Friday evening, so we’ll see you then (all things being equal).
It’d be a shame to miss the gay superheroes story.
It will prob still be a story next week.
Stupid tokenism is an evergreen topic in comics.

I really wish the House to Astonish “community” had a forum. This is the only place I feel I can go to discuss comics online without damaging brain cells. So many great contributors here.
I suspect I won’t have time to do a Eurovision rundown, but we’ll see.
I don’t see any reason Eurovision can’t wait a few days, if need be. You can’t not pass the “I Love Belarus” crown to somebody.
An old favorite is the review of Excalibur Vol. 3 #1. I can remember something akin to, “Magneto comes back, and they can fuck right off with that one.” Good times.
Wasnt there an offical handbook segment where they made the subject into a eurovision candidateo? Shamrock maybe?
