Charts – 20 March 2026
The thing about Harry Styles is that he does have fanbase sales. So while he still has three tracks in the top 20 – at numbers 3, 5 and 15 – he doesn’t get a second week at number 1 with “American Girls”.
1. Sam Fender & Olivia Dean – “Rein Me In”
Yes, this again. It’s a fourth non-consecutive week at number 1, but for the first time there’s no asterisk attached – it would have beaten Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” even if rthat track wasn’t subject to downweighting. This one isn’t because, inexplicably, it continues to grow (however slowly) after 40 weeks on sale.
We’re still in the unhappy position of having a top ten where five of the tracks feature either Olivia Dean or Harry Styles. However, “Rein Me In” has a very small lead over Bella Kay’s “iloveitiloveitiloveit” at number 2, so it probably won’t stay on top much longer.
11. Sienna Spiro – “The Visitor”
We really are in an era of minimalist music videos, aren’t we? But you have to wonder where the return on investment is, in doing anything more than this. This is the fourth single from her upcoming album, and she still has “Die on This Hill” on the chart at number 29.
19. Noah Kahan – “Porch Light”
The previous single, “The Great Divide”, peaked at number 10 but is still hanging around at 27 after seven weeks. This is a lower entry, but then it’s also a slightly less obvious choice of single, at four and a half minutes and taking its time to get to the chorus. “Stick Season” is obviously going to be an outlier in his chart record, but he can clearly get hits with material that isn’t a typical fit for the singles chart.
And… uh, that’s it. There’s a re-entry for “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac at number 40 (rebounding from number 41). This week’s climbers:
- “iloveitiloveitiloveit” by Bella Kay rebounds from 3-2. Her previous single “The Sick” falls to 34 in its second week.
- “Dracula” by Tame Impala climbs 17-14.
- “White Keys” by Dominic Fike climbs 19-18. “Babydoll” is a non-mover at 13.
- “Midnight Sun” by Zara Larsson climbs 22-20, returning to the peak it first reached in February. It’s spent four of the last five weeks at number 22.
- “Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley climbs to 33 after five straight weeks at number 35.
The three tracks leaving the top 40 are:
- “Share the House” by Ewan McVicar, which entered at 38 two weeks ago.
- “Nightingale Lane.” by Raye, which entered at 20 two weeks ago.
- “Dying for You” by Charli XCX, a track from the Wuthering Heights soundtrack album that had four weeks, peaking at 24.
On the album chart:
1. Harry Styles – “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
Two weeks, and with a comfortable lead.
3. James Blake – “Trying Times”
His seventh album, and marginally the highest placing – it’s the fifth to make the top 10, though. Love the live video above.
25. Yonaka – “Until You’re Satisfied”
Second album, after a six-year gap. The first one got to number 38.
37. Black Crowes – “A Pound of Feathers”
Their tenth album – the last one got to number 31. The YouTube description of this video reads: “In the video for Profane Prophecy, the Black Crowes have conjured seven devils (representing each deadly sin) to wreak havoc on this little fairytale world of stark morality and harsh retribution. In creating this world, they leaned into uncanniness with hyper-unrealistic theatrical set pieces and life-size dioramas.”
