Housekeeping

No reviews this week, I’m afraid – no time, and besides, there’s nothing actually finishing this week anyway. Should be back to normal service next week.

  1. simmo says:

Any date for if/when the podcast will return? It must be tough with kids.

  2. Al says:

Our big problem was that while it was doable while only one of us had a kid, doing it when both of us had young ones was just untenable (particularly as I do all the editing, uploading, marketing etc). Once my daughter’s a little older – at some point in the new year, for example – we’re likely to be in a position to look at bringing it back on at least an irregular basis.

  3. errant says:

    marketing?

  4. James says:

Just let the babies sit on the podcast .I’m sure that will go smoothly.

  5. Al says:

Marketing might not be the exact right word. Publicising maybe? All the stuff where I go round the internet doing posts on Facebook, Twitter, here, CSBG etc. about the new episode.

  6. Niall says:

So which will return first. Shield or House to Astonish? The next book in ASOIAF?

Al, I’m sure that somebody here will be happy to publicise HTA if that helps.

  7. Tom Healey says:

House to Astonish babies, two Scottish infants review comics they have no understanding of.

  8. Tdubs says:

Any chance of some older episodes being reported? I’d dig hearing those again.

  9. Chris says:

I’ve never heard the older episodes.

Can you just upload all of those?

Yes I really enjoy listening to comic book reviews in accents.

  10. Leo says:

I think the oldest we can get is #45 from mixcloud, at http://www.mixcloud.com/housetoastonish/
I always thought they were all available, so usually I deleted them after listening but apparently the previous ones got deleted from the regular download locations.

Al and Paul, if you kept backups of the first episodes, maybe you could make a torrent with them. That could also draw new audience too!

  11. Thanks Al for your honest answers. Take your time with your kid. They are young only once.
However, I miss the podcast too.
